Anxiety Therapy

Anxiety is a part of being and alive human AND it can go haywire at times in our lives. When anxiety is out of control you may find yourself consumed with worry thoughts, anticipating all possible worst-case scenarios, and unable to enjoy the present moment. Anxiety may rear its head at night, causing insomnia, tension and exhaustion. Fortunately, I find that most people find relief from anxiety symptoms in therapy as they learn skills to regulate their stress response and increase their present moment focus. Suffering from anxiety can feel so isolating, however, I find clients are empowered when they learn “top down” and “bottom up”, body based, skills to manage anxiety.
