Sensorimotor Psychotherapy
Sensorimotor Psychotherapy is a body-based talk therapy developed to address trauma and attachment issues. Rooted in neuroscience research, SP incorporates somatic, emotional, and cognitive processing to foster healing and lasting change. SP helps clients identify habitual physical and psychological patterns that are keeping them “stuck” through a collaborative and trusting therapeutic relationship. By incorporating body-based “bottom up” processing and cognitive “top down” processing, clients are able to process trauma through the nervous system and alter limiting core beliefs, opening up the opportunity to thrive.
