CBT, founded Aaron Beck, is the most researched therapy to date and has been proven effective for a wide array of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, phase of life issues, and self-esteem issues, to name a few. CBT helps clients look at the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. This “top-down” approach helps clients change habitual negative self-talk and interpretations of events to more adaptive and helpful ways of thinking.
